the final version of Indian national flag, replacing spinning wheel with Ashoka Chakra,

Finally congress official flag was slightly modified and adopted as our national flag. It is even said that Mahatma Gandhi was not pleased with the move to replace spinning wheel with Ashoka Chakra, but eventually accepted it. Chakra was chosen to represent dharma.

Are humans evolved from monkeys

Its not always we think about the evolution of humans. But we sometimes do think about it. Some curious fellows would have clarified their doubt even in their childhood. The most popular answer was that humans evolved from monkeys. Even Some rational people believe that Adam and Eve were the first human beings on earth( don't forget that forbidden apple).

But scientifically many facts related to human evolution were put forth, some of them are really convincing.
  • Humans are not direct descendants of apes.
  • It is proved that both humans and apes evolved from a common descendant.
  • Chimps, gorillas, orangs and humans, all underwent millions of years of change to become who we are today.
  • About five million years ago there lived the common ancestor to humans and apes -- a dog-sized primate, who wandered the African grasslands.
There are no fossils to prove that humans and apes share a common ancestor. There could be evolution of human beings. If the temperature of the planet raises constantly, then apparently humans may develop a physique which withstand higher temperature. The dinosaurus species was wiped out of the planet as it could not able to cope up with the environmental change. The same thing could happen to humans.   `

Sarath Babu, CEO, Foodking Catering Services, and Pepsi-MTV youth icon of 2008 feels politics is the best way to serve society. During the last lok sabha election i saw this young guy making news. He is a person who drifted himself from the bottom line of the society and became an entrepreneur.
Entering the fray of politics in the Lok Sabha Elections, 2009, this youth icon earned 15890 votes while contesting from South Chennai. He campaigned for forty days in the last election with around 250 youngsters supporting him. Isn't it proud to see a person who echoed the voice of Youth contesting in the Elections.

He studied in India's premier Institutes like IIM-A and BITS, Pilani. racing tiger is at raze

Our National Animal-Tiger is in the verge of becoming extinct. The latest news is that only 1411 tigers are surviving. Their numbers are constantly decreasing. Many celebrities have joined hands to save our national animal. The latest ones, who tops the list being Shahrukh Khan, Dhoni.

There are about 9 subspecies of tiger, 2 of which are already extinct. Bengal Tiger is the most common sub-species.

Here are some interesting information about the tigers,
  • The cubs are born blind
  • Tigers achieve full maturity at the age of three
  • Tigers hunt usually at night
  • The stripes of the tigers are unique, like the fingerprint of the humans
  • Tigers have powerful vision. They can see six times better than humans
Are you are fascinated by the above facts? may be. This beast is unique in its own grounds. In a broader sense, all the living creatures have the equal rights to live in this world. But we the humans are miserably causing injustice to the laws of nature. Everyone in the world is not responsible for the decline in the number. But everyone is responsible for protecting these left overs.

If we fail to take prior action, then tigers would be a living creature of the past. The study books of the future will quote, "Once there was a ferocious beast tiger that was hunted and poached by humans and became extinct".
